This Blog's Now Gonna Include Makeup, Too

I had a pretty successful makeup-buying day today. My Walgreens was having a deal that if you bought certain Neutrogena products, you got a free Neutrogena Healthy Lengths Mascara. I decided to get the Mineral Sheers Loose Powder Foundation (in nude 40) and got the mascara in carbon black. So far I like both products, but I'm going to use them for a week or two before I decide how much I like them.













I also went to Dollar Tree to get some new makeup sponges, and I found some other stuff that I bought. I was surprised when I saw Maybelline at Dollar Tree. I ended up getting three blushes (sierra sand, seashell pink, and beach club coral) and Dream Mousse Shadow (turquoise breeze) along with the makeup sponges. I'll post more about the blushes, too after I get a chance to try them, but I already know one thing about the eyeshadow: I'll be using it as a base. It's a pretty color, but it's really sheer. If it weren't so glittery I'd just try and build the coverage, but it's annoying to me when I've got too much shimmer or glitter on. Oh well, it was only a dollar so it's not a total loss.


The last thing I did was go to Dollar General, where I found this great little plastic thing for me to orgagize some of my makeup in. Once again, a dollar. =]













It doesn't fit all of my makeup, but it fits over half of it. My makeup area looks tidier now, so I consider it yet another success.

New Shoes =]

So, I got to go shopping again this weekend, and I got a pair of formal shoes to go with the dress I bought a month or so ago.




I also have a new favorite color of nail polish, Rain Check from Wet n Wild. I really like that brand as far as nail polishes go. They've got some really pretty colors, and they last a fairly good amount of time.

Once again, my post isn't much, but I don't have much more to say.

I'm not very good at this...

Oh wow, it's been over a month since I last posted. Looks like I'll be telling about my spring break shopping trip a few weeks late.
So, I did get two pairs of super-cute shorts (Aeropostale and American Eagle), some gold sandals from payless. I'm still waiting for a good pair of jeggings at a price that's not $30 (if anybody knows of any, they should tell me!). I got a formal dress on sale at JC Penny's, and, last but possibly one of my favorite purchases, are a pair of sunglasses from Justice. I don't have a picture right now, so I can't let you see the reason for my shopping at Justice There's nothing wrong with the store, I'm just a bit too old to shop there. The last time I actually shopped there, it was called Limited Too. I promise though, I shamelessly carried the shopping bag around the rest of the day because the glasses were definitely worth it.
I know that wasn't much of a post, but it's getting somewhat late and I've got school tomorrow, so goodbye for now; I really will try to start updating more.
